Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using RedditPing ("the Service"), operated by RedditPing ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

RedditPing monitors publicly available Reddit posts for user-defined keywords and delivers AI-scored email digests. We do not access private Reddit data, direct messages, or any content that requires authentication to view.

3. Accounts

You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Free Trial & Subscriptions

New accounts receive a 7-day free trial with Starter plan features. No credit card is required for the trial. After the trial period, you must subscribe to a paid plan to continue receiving digests. Subscriptions are billed monthly and renew automatically until cancelled.

5. Payments & Refunds

Payments are processed by our payment provider, Dodo Payments. By subscribing, you authorize recurring monthly charges. You may cancel at any time from your billing settings; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact us within 7 days of a charge.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for harassment, stalking, or monitoring individuals
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits or abuse the free trial
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service or its data
• Use the Service in violation of any applicable law or Reddit's terms
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, its design, code, and branding are owned by RedditPing. Reddit content surfaced through the Service remains the property of its respective authors and Reddit, Inc. We do not claim ownership of any Reddit content.

8. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses AI (Claude by Anthropic) to score and summarize Reddit posts. AI-generated summaries and relevance scores are provided for informational purposes only and may not always be accurate. You should verify any information before acting on it.

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Service depends on Reddit's public data availability, which is outside our control. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RedditPing is provided "as is" without warranty. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including missed mentions, incorrect AI scoring, or service interruptions.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
